Goalkick Winter Session II Rules
Summary Players may only be rostered on one team per league and
fall in the given birthdays: Under 10 – Born after September 1, 1998 Under 12 – Born after September 1, 1996 Under 14 – Born after September 1, 1994 Under 17 – Born after September 1, 1991 Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Adult Co-Ed – No Age Restrictions Men’s Over 30 – Born before December 31, 1978 Games will be 2 x 25 minute halves with a 4 minute half
time Under 10 and Under 12 play with 6 field players plus a goalkeeper (Size 4 Ball) Under 14 and older play with 5 field players plus a goalkeeper (Size 5 Ball) Teams have access to the training areas 45 minutes prior to games to warm-up Three points are awarded for a win, one point for a tie
and zero points for a loss Out of bounds is as follows – ball played back in with a
direct free kick Side nets anywhere above the side boards – kick taken from dashed line Above red line on end boards – goalkick or corner kick awarded -Netting above the goal and in the corners is in play (not out of bounds) Touching any ceiling structure – kick taken from where ball hits the structure -If above goal box – kick taken from goal box line closest to where touched
All kicks are direct including kick-offs, kick-ins and
free kicks Kick offs can be played forward or backward Indirect fouls (dangerous
play, obstruction, backpass, etc.) occurring in the goal box are awarded a direct kick from
the edge of the goalbox nearest where foul occurred Direct fouls occurring in
goal box awarded penalty kick from the top of the goal box Opposing players must be 10 feet from the ball when any free kick or kick in is taken – must not step toward ball as kick is taken – encroachment will be called Substitutions are on the fly or guaranteed when ball
goes out of bounds/kickoffs Players exiting must be within ten feet of bench entry before teammate enters If a player is given a yellow card, that player must
exit the field and may not play for 5 minutes – the team can replace the player with a substitute If the team does not have any substitutes, they will play short for the 5 min. If a player is given a red card, that player must exit the field and bench area and may not play the remainder of the game - their team will play short for 5 minutes. News
